Chrysalis City Northern Dawn Town
The reinforced entrance to the old mine network that predates Chrysalis’s transformation into a research city. Most shafts have been decommissioned and their deeper sections sealed. Some tunnels connect to the broader underground network beneath Terra—and through it, to things considerably older than a mine.
A Boldrei shrine stands beside the entrance, maintained by workers who still use the upper shafts for storage.
DM note: The sealed sections connect to the tunnel network running beneath Chrysalis and, at sufficient depth, to the vicinity of Facility 59—the ancient Sarcophagus installation buried 400 feet below the city’s edge.
