Old Ward

The Old Ward Plaza is where people gather — the open square at the western bridge where all three of Morain’s districts converge and the practical heart of daily life in town. Small shops are set up here for travellers coming down from the mountain, alongside the weekly market where farmers bring produce and locals trade equipment and catch up on news. It is, by most accounts, the single most reliable place to find anyone in Morain.

Services: General goods, weekly market stalls, equipment trading

Notable detail: A small roadside shrine to Boldrei stands near the Plaza’s entrance, tended communally with no permanent priest — offerings are left daily, particularly by families and farmers.

Notes

  • Description expanded using Town Morain Old Ward and Town Morain, which cover the Plaza in more detail than the original draft notes.
  • Table lists representative stalls; stock varies with which farmers and travellers are in town that week.
