Timber from the southern forest arrives at the wharves and is shaped here into everything from roof beams to fine furniture to river craft. Several workshops also employ artificers—University graduates who chose applied work over research—who combine traditional woodcraft with mechanical ingenuity.

Notable detail: One workshop at the district’s southern end, run by a quiet half-elf named Orin, specialises in work that other carpenters decline—hidden compartments, doors that don’t appear to be doors, unusual joinery. His waiting list is long and his prices are high.
