Silk Rock

A modest stretch of reinforced riverbank in Silk Rock where flat-bottomed boats can be tied up, used primarily for moving grain and goods along the river toward Chrysalis City — though the volume is low. It is also a place one can fish, and transportation by boat downstream toward Chrysalis City can be bought here.

Dalla, the district’s ferryman, keeps two boats in working order and takes paying passengers as well as freight. She has been moving goods between Morain and points west for twenty years and has opinions about the Rhine’s moods that she will share whether asked or not.
